policy regarding quality

SYSTEM OF ENSURING THE QUALITY AND THE HARMLESS NATURE OF THE FOODS FROM THE Cinatur Group S.L.

The activities carried out by the Cinatur Group S.L. are done under the concept of total quality and nutritional security.  The certification of our company with Rule UNE-EN ISO 22000:05 in April 2008 issued by Bureau Veritas Certification has laid down an important challenge and a path which we wish to follow: the path of quality, service and nutritional security.

Our activity in the commercialisation of fruits and vegetables as regards quality and nutritional security is based on:

“the assurance of harmlessness of the foods and the importance of control throughout the food chain to prevent incidences of nutritional security”

To implement Rule UNE-EN ISO 22000 we have documented and put into practice a System of managing the harmlessness of the foods whose principles are the following:

  • Interactive communication with suppliers, clients, subcontractors, internal communication (we develop documents and arrange informative discussions, training and web updating).
  • Management of the Quality system: Manuals, Documentation and Registers.
  • Development of the Programmes for the pre-requisites (APPCC control Plans and Procedures) focused on the APPCC (CODEX ALIMENTARIUS) principles and on Traceability.

For its part, in its day to day running Cinatur Group S.L. has:

A continuous and efficient system of evaluating suppliers based on the requirements of quality and nutritional security not only for the product but also for the installations and processes involved along with its efficiency for providing a solution to all of our needs. In this way, we ensure the maximum quality of fruits and vegetables, which have been cultivated under codes of Good Farming Practice (GLOBALGAP, Guarantees of quality and origin, integrated Production) and manipulated and packed in accordance with the principles of the International Rules of nutritional security (CODEX, BRC, IFS,ISO)

An agile system of managing orders which has been developed by computer which enables immediate communication with the supplier together with those involved with loading and transport, maintaining the timing and temperature conditions adequate and, of course, it is governed by an effective system of product TRACEABILITY through all the stages from the place of origin to the sale.

Effective product controls to demonstrate conformity with legal requirements, laws, and the clients’ own specifications with regard to packing, pesticide residues, labelling, internal and external quality as well as loading and transport controls.

Effective system for answering clients’ claims and suggestions. Documentation, communication, implementing of immediate corrective actions and analysis.

System of auditing suppliers as well as internal auditing in order to appraise and value the degree to which product and system requirements have been complied with. Documentation of non-conformities and corrective actions.

Arranging of meetings for revising the System in which the Management and managers from the Department concerned with analysing the behaviour of the system and its continuous improvement participate.

Practice drills for traceability and actions to be taken in the case of food incidences in order to verify an efficient response from Cinatur Group S.L.

System of valuing the clients’ requirements such as the need for certifications from the suppliers in GLOBALGAP, IFS, BRC; new products, the seasonal nature of the offer and dealing with claims. The study of client surveys and studies of demand behaviour.
